Have your USDOT number ready. We check your fleet against the FMCSA record, file at the official UCR portal, and email you the receipt. You see the government fee and our fee as two separate lines before you pay anything.

What happens after you pay

Verification. We check your vehicle count and entity type against your FMCSA record. If they disagree, we email you before anything is filed.
Filing. We submit your registration at the official UCR National Registration System, normally within one business day.
Receipt. The official UCR receipt lands in your inbox. No sticker or cab card is needed — inspectors check your USDOT in the national database.
Next year. We remind you when the next window opens on October 1 (you can opt out).

Straight talk

UCR Assist is an independent, privately owned filing service. We are not the UCR Plan, FMCSA, the U.S. DOT or any state agency. You can register yourself at the official portal, www.ucr.gov, for the government fee alone. We charge a service fee for doing it for you, checking the vehicle count first, and keeping the receipt where you can find it.
